Norwich School is proud to have taken part in a charity scheme called GoGoGorillas, which aims to raise money for the Charity Break in Norwich. Over 250 pupils at the school submitted drawings for the project. George McDonald-Bell and Ed Cann from the Design Department scanned, vectorised and vinyl cut all of these drawings and then applied them to the Gorilla. This time lapse video shows a part of the gorilla decoration process before it was eventually varnished. The Gorilla, along with many others will be displayed around Norwich (ours on the Close) and will then be auctioned off at the end of the summer for the charities Break & Born Free.
Thanks must be given to all the pupils involved in creating the designs, the School for supporting the cause and the staff and caretakers involved in helping to make the project happen.
