Tom, an A-level 3D designer has designed an emotive and reflective architectural / sculptural space inspired by the work of Gordon Matte-Clark and Gijs Van Vaerenbergh. Tom has created a labyrinth, made from oxidised copper, in which the audience can get lost and see snippets of other scenes through the openings.
Trixie, a GCSE 3D Designer has been exploring coral bleaching within her work this year. This stunning 1metre x 1metre wall hanging is made from tuft wool and knitted forms. The piece transforms from left to right showing the decay of coral from healthy to bleached.
Jemima, an Upper 5 (Year 12) GCSE 3D designer has been exploring the relationship between Furniture and nature within her upcycling project. This piece, created from a broken chair celebrates the branches and wood from where the chair once came.
This gorgeous necklace, inspired by African cultural patterns was designed by one of our GCSE 3D Pupils, Tilly.
One of our GCSE 3D Designers, Dylan, has been exploring movement and the human form within his project on public sculpture. This model of his proposed design looks at the relationship between athletes and their audience and creates an experiential space showcasing the movement of a sprinter through several sculptures at an enormous scale.
Cassia, an U6 3D Designer has been exploring Botanics - looking at flora and fauna within specific spaces. Using a 'what 3 words' location within her garden, she has over time documented its life through etchings and silicone drying the species she has found. She has created two beautiful pieces that act as record, highlighting the importance of botanical documentation and preservation of our natural spaces.
Atiya, One of our A-level 3D designers has created this beautifully moody and intricate sculptural architecture proposal for a set of three structures with conjoining walkways. The open spaces and tiny cavities create contracts between interior and exterior spaces and give the audience an experience of 'light and darkness' as they navigate through the spaces.
This gorgeous necklace, ring and brooch collection, made from solid brass is by one of our GCSE 3D designers, Charlotte. It was made in response to her cultural jewellery brief and features intricate photo-etched elements.

I have taken up photography during my final year at Norwich School and have made good progress within the subject and I especially enjoy the individuality of photography. At school I am also studying 3D design and History, both of which have aided me in design inspiration. At university I will be hopefully going to Oxford Brookes and study architecture, with offers being received from Kingston, Liverpool John Moores and Portsmouth.
